Bill Myers
This page is dedicated to my father in law. He was a man that lost his biological family early in
his adult life, and
always held a special place in his heart to rejoin his family again. Although his physical adult life
was not easy, and
he was not a man of riches, he was so rich in many ways.
Bill was a man who always carried that spark of child joy in his heart. Whether it was in telling
jokes, watching
cartoons, or just connecting with another in conversation he was a very light hearted man to
be in the presence of.
Bill loved nature, loved to use his hands to create many an object that was either just a picture
in his head, or to take
a very small impression of what he needed to do and let it grow in imagination to be
manifested with his vision.
He was love, peace, and very much quietly in total control of what he chose in life. A cup of
coffee and either a cookie
or pastry made his day, and those that were lucky enough to spend time with him in those
quiet moments.
Bill spent most of his adult life, working long hours for not what many would consider any
considerable wealth. For
the better share of the last 20 years of his life, he was disabled and found many new ways to be
productive to what
gave his heart joy. Although the last few years of his life, he seemed to not have recognition for
those closest to him, I
believe a part of him was very much present in where he chose to be. A dearly missed man by
his wife, children,
grandchildren and friends, but an ungoing legacy of love, life, laughter and cheer.
I will always love you Bill, and all that you brought into my life from a very young age. Cheers
to you, and the cafe of
the heavens, where you now gather with those that have came to meet you once again.
